When you install Chili!Soft ASP 3.6, you can select either a bundle installation or a custom installation. The option you choose determines which items are installed on your server.
With a bundle installation, the setup program automatically installs and configures the following items on the target server:
· Chili!Soft ASP Administration Console
· Chili!Beans (optional on Sun Solaris and IBM-AIX)
· Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.2.2_06 (Linux only) or JRE 1.2.2_07 (HP-UX only)
· Apache Web Server 1.3.12
· Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions
· IBM DB2 runtime client 6.2 and 7.0.1 (IBM-AIX and Linux only)
· dBASE 5 database and samples
· Merant DataDirect ODBC drivers
· Merant SequeLink 4.51
With a custom installation, the setup program automatically installs the following items on the target server and enables you to specify some of their configuration settings:
· Chili!Soft ASP Administration Console
· Chili!Beans (optional)
· Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.2.2_06 (Linux only) or JRE 1.2.2_07 (HP-UX only)
· IBM DB2 runtime client 6.2 and 7.0.1 (IBM-AIX and Linux only)
· dBASE 5 database and samples
· Merant DataDirect ODBC drivers
· Merant SequeLink 4.51
During a custom installation, the setup program also enables you to specify an installed Web server to run with Chili!Soft ASP.

See also the README file that was installed with your software. You can access it from the Administration Console by clicking customer support in the left navigation pane.
Starting with version 3.0, Chili!Soft ASP includes Java support, enabling Java class files to be used as components by ASP scripts. The setup program also installs sample Java classes and applications. For more information, see "Accessing Documentation, Samples, and Diagnostics" in this chapter. For more information about Java support, see "Using Java Objects and Classes" in "Chapter 4: Building a Chili!Soft ASP Application." Note that a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is included only in Chili!Soft ASP for Linux and HP-UX.
